Round Towers Minor Club

The Round Towers Minor Club was established in 1985.  Round Towers were one of the first clubs in London to recognise the importance of a Minor Club and the ability of a Minor Club to secure the long term future of a club.

The time invested in the Round Towers Minor Club has born fruit as a steady stream of Senior footballers has been produced including,  in recent times, Garry McGovern, Timmy O’Donovan and  Michael Murtagh who have represented the London Senior Football team with distinction.  

In 2006 and 2007 on occasions 9 players who have graduated from our Minor Club played in the same Senior XV.  This underlines the importance of the Minor Club to the overall health and future of the Club.

Round Towers Minor Club comprises the following teams:

•    Under 10

•    Under 12

•    Under 14

•    Under 16

•    Under 18

•    Under 21

All coaches involved in the Minor Club are subject to Police Checks and must hold a CRB Certificate. It is the Minor Club’s aim to provide a safe and secure environment for children to learn Gaelic football.  We hope that all players in the Minor Club enjoy playing Gaelic football,  make friends and, hopefully, graduate to our Senior team.
